Do you keep my audio?+
Files uploaded for completed conversions are deleted within 3 days. Files from failed conversions may stay up to 14 days so you can retry. You can continue a free preview for about 2 hours. You can restore a selected file in this browser for about 60 minutes after signing in or paying; expired browser copies are cleared the next time you open a tool. Conversion results stay separately in your account history until you delete them. We do not train models on uploads.
Why does my MIDI sound off?+
Dense mixes, heavy effects, and unusual timbres degrade detection in single-pitch mode. Either isolate one clear part first, or switch to full-song mode (6-15 credits by length) for a multi-track MIDI draft.
Does it work for Ableton Live or Logic Pro?+
Yes. The output is a standard .mid file that opens in every major DAW — Ableton, Logic, FL Studio, Cubase, Reaper, GarageBand, and more.
Can I convert long recordings?+
The current upload limit is 25MB per file (roughly 5–10 minutes, depending on format and bitrate). PureMIDI converts one file at a time; larger uploads and batch conversion are not available yet.
